Danielle & Dawson's Wedding at Cliffs of Glassy

Wow, a lot has happened since we last blogged! We've had several weddings, including a double wedding weekend, an awesome Trash the Dress shoot, one of us has gotten older and we gave our website and blog a fresh new look. Not to mention we are cooking up a bunch of new ideas and promotions that we will be unveiling shortly. What a whirlwind! For now, onto the first of our double-header weekend.

Danielle and Dawson's wedding day was a lot of fun for many reasons.

1) They are an awesome couple! Just check out the post we made for their engagement session and you'll see what we mean.
2) There colors were classic black and white...with a dash of Hot Pink and tiger stripes!
3) The Cliffs of Glassy is always a beautiful place to photograph (except for maybe the few minutes of monsoon and hail storm that day).
4) Danielle clogged in hot pink heels and a wedding dress!
5) One word: KARAOKE!

Even with her hair in rollers she's beautiful!

Of course Dawson didn't look bad either. ;)

The ladies sporting their hot pink heels. Danielle waited until after the ceremony to don hers.

How cool is this?! Hot pink and tiger striped details.

Dawson's first glimpse of his beautiful bride.

After a very touching father-daughter dance, Danielle and her dad busted out some serious moves including the "Chain Saw" and the "Sprinkler" .

Nice air time!

A moody window reflection of their last dance.

OK so after the reception we followed the newlyweds to La Bastide for some more creative, romantical shots. When we pull up there wasn't a single light on and we could barely see the entrance. Turns out the monsoon hail storm knocked out the power and there was no chance of getting it back till morning. Bummed but not deterred, we gathered all the candles in the lobby for some candlelight portraits.

Not bad for total darkness, eh?! (Thank you D3's!)
