Lindsey & Trey's Engagement Portraits

Not too long ago we met up with Lindsey and Trey for their engagement shoot in downtown Greer. They live in Atlanta but their wedding will be in Greenville this August and we can't wait. What a fun couple!

Be sure to check out the slideshow below.

Lindsey & Joe's Wedding

Lindsey and Joe were married recently at St. George Greek Orthodox Church with a reception at The Acanthus afterwards. They are a beautiful and fun couple anyway but as a bonus, both places were awe-inpsiring and wonderful to photograph as well. An Orthodox wedding has so many interesting parts including the bride and groom donning crowns and circling the altar with the priest. Not to mention the priests sing the words throughout much of the ceremony! The Acanthus is a beautiful lakefront home in Lyman that just happens to be owned by Lindsey's parents who are now renting it out for weddings and receptions. We were honored to be the first to photograph a reception in their beautiful, newly-constructed pavilion.

It all made for a truly wonderful wedding for Lindsey and Joe, which is great considering they are wonderful people. We had a great time and here are a few of our favorites. Be sure to look for the slideshow at the end!

The insanely adorable flower girl showing off her newly lost tooth.

We are blessed with gorgeous (and fun) brides!

Lindsey's dad gave her hand to Joe like it was the most fragile piece of glass. You can tell he loves his little girl.

BTW: Love the vantage point that this church allows!

We laughed so hard when we saw this one. What a look!

Andrea & Jeremy's Engagement Portraits

We had a blast with Andrea and Jeremy recently in downtown Greer. They're from Charlotte, NC, which is where their wedding will be, but they were looking for some small town charm for their engagement session. If the old saying "Live Long, Laugh Often" is true, then Andrea and Jeremy will live a very long time. It was so much fun to photograph them just laughing and being themselves. If they are this happy just any day of the week, we can't wait for the wedding day!

Andrea and Jeremy both have incredible, though slightly different, senses of style. She is a an Ann Taylor fashionista while he isn't afraid to be a little different.
Those shoes are gorgeous but check out Jeremy's stylin' socks. We love it when people aren't afraid to be themselves!

Love the joy in this one.

One of our favorites!

Sarah & Chris' Wedding

Sarah and Chris' wedding was a blend of fun, emotions and catching up with old friends. We even got to take a field trip in the "bridal party bus" to Furman! When 14 people load up into a big van, how could it not be a fun day?

Sarah and Chris' "First Look" was a beautiful moment indeed. They were both beaming even before they saw each other.

Real men hold flowers! :)

Sarah and Chris were so excited to be declared man and wife that they almost forgot about the kiss part!
Of course they got around to it eventually.

The couples rockin' get-away car. Eat your heart out KITT!

Sarah & Chris,

Thank you for sharing your day with us. When you two are together we don't have to do a thing but watch and shoot. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your wedding day and your roller-coaster honeymoon! We can't wait to hear all about it. See you soon.

Katie & Josh's Engagement Portraits

Recently we met up with Katie and Josh downtown for their engagement shoot. They love ice cream so they got a couple cones and we had fun watching them enjoy it and try not to wear it. The summer heat is not so kind to delicious frozen treats!

Then once they were high on sugar and feelin' good we headed for Falls Park.

We were hoping to see a beautiful sunset at the top of a parking garage since that is something they like to do in their free time, but alas, the clouds were not havin' it.
