Amanda & Justin's Wedding at The Acanthus in Lyman, SC

What do you get when you mix a great looking, fashion forward couple with a beautiful wedding put together by Kim from All in the Details at a gorgeous place like The Acanthus? Why amazing images of course. How could a photographer go wrong?! Amanda and Justin's wedding was just that: picture perfect. Even the rain that came and went then came and went again didn't put a damper on their wonderful day. Since the newlyweds live in Atlanta and their busy schedules won't allow them to come see their album design for awhile, here is a sneak peak at some of the awesomeness from their wedding.

Luckily Amanda is a lithe little minx that could fit into a dress that skinny! And check out the gorgeous flowers by Kim Wehunt.

We absolutely love the "Bride's Room" at The Acanthus. We could spend half a day shooting in there between the amazing bed and the light-filled bathroom.

Oh yeah and the front doors aren't bad either.

Donovan, the "bridesman", was a great sport and an obviously great friend of Amanda's. He had no problem hanging with all those crazy girls. It probably didn't hurt that they were all gorgeous either.

Justin and his guys were equally crazy but not quite as gorgeous. Just kidding guys.

The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony which was held down by the beautiful Lake Lyman.

These two look like they belong on the cover of a magazine instead of writing for them. Guess they are both just blessed with good looks AND brains.

Tracey & Randall's Wedding in Columbia, SC

Last month we headed down to Columbia for Tracey and Randall's beautiful wedding. The Chapel at First Baptist was very cute and bright and their enormous bridal party was a lot of fun. One of the neatest favor ideas they had for their reception was to have big buckets of Crocs for "Dancing Shoes". The guests loved them!

Tracey's salon was full of great details that conveniently matched her wedding colors.

Like we said the bridal party was a lot of fun. Here the girls were hamming it up for us. Curtis' angle.

Emily got a little more personal by zooming in.

This chapel was so bright and beautiful, a photographer's dream.

Here's another example of Emily and I getting two different perspectives. Curtis' angle.

Emily's angle. Love the shadows.

The Croc favors kept the dance floor hoppin' all night. You can even see a pair to the left of the bridesmaid giving her own booty a smack!

Now that's how its done! Way to go Randall.

One of the other favors they had were little keychain pen lights which made a great spot light for this ring shot.

Fun with Family Portraits

A couple of the many fun shoots we've done lately (and that we are behind on blogging) were for two wonderful families. Here are excerpts from the family albums we did of their shoots. Enjoy and if you would like to have something similar for your little one or your whole family, just give us a call or send us an email. We'd love to capture your loved ones in a unique and fun way.

Teresa, Joe and little Ryan
Little Ryan has the cutest cheeks on the planet!

The many faces of Ryan.

Showing off his first two teeth with that smile. Too cute.

A family portrait.

A slightly different family portrait.

Katie, Dan and little William
We loved this cute series of him running to mommy and daddy and the beautiful, loving hug that followed.

William certainly has the whole #1 thing down. What a smart little tike!

More family sessions (plus a whole lot more) to come so check back soon.
